About ALA

Arab Loss Adjusters (ALA) was established in 1981 by our current managing director and chairman, Walid H. Jishi in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Following his exposure to international insurance markets, he sought out the challenge to build a native adjusting practice with a strong emphasis on industrial and engineering risks. Through his leadership and passion for positive impact towards the insurance industry, he has steered the firm from a single local adjusting office to a well recognised and established brand name among local and international insurance markets.

Past, Present and Future

The insurance industry was at its infancy stage when in 1981, Walid Jishi, Group Chairman and Managing Director, founded Arab Loss Adjusters to bridge the gap between local insurers and international practices.
