Arab Loss Adjusters was established in 1981 by our current managing director and chairman, Walid H. Jishi in Dubai, U.A.E. Following his exposure to the International Insurance markets, he sought out the challenge to building a native adjusting practice with strong emphasis on industrial and engineering risks and through his leadership and passion for positive impact towards the Insurance Industry has steered the firm from a single local adjusting office to a well recognised and established brand name among local and international insurance markets.

The Insurance Industry was at its infantry stage in 1981, Walid Jishi, our founder, group chairman and managing director established Arab Loss Adjusters to bridge the gap between local Insurers and International practices.

Piloted in 2012 as the educational and training division under ALA Group. The academy was established with the purpose of increasing insurance awareness and providing practical professional qualifications through our joint partnership with the AustralAsian Institute of Chartered Loss Adjusters, as well as professional qualifications offered through The Insitutes of America (CPCU).
